How to wear a Proper Hijab

I noticed that most of my friends, those who had not worn a hijab yet, most actually are afraid to step into the world of hijab due to fear.. so what is that fear? It should be the other way round, we should be in fear for not wearing one.

Fear is - well, not looking good, or looking older than your own age... haha.... typical right???

Well, let me just relate my own experience, when I first step into the Hijab world, I was very nervous. I dont know how to wear one, truthfully. I cant learn it from my mum cause she wears a normal square hijab like most older mothers do. No styling whatsoever, as for my mother in law, she wears super glamorous hijabs but in one style and that style only. Mostly square hijabs also. What attracts me is the oblong long hijab shawls like the ones in my store here http://hijab411.com/shawls-lot-c-17.html

These types are usually the most elegant if you know how to use one.

I ended up searching the internet for hijab stores and ofcourse ebay. I found one seller, that sells slip in amira and I bought in wholesale lots cause i thought wow! This should sell well also.

I was happy with the amiras, I love them, fabric is soft and its super cooling but the Kuwaiti, the designs - well, needless to say, its what my grandma likes to wear. Too much indian influences, I guess they are made in Dubai for that reason.

Some animal prints ones are nice though.

So, I wore those.

My kids, all boys and all so active. My hijab can literally be pulled away from my face in an instant. I got fed up, switched to hats and dickies. Sometimes I wear just hats, no dickies.

Decided to switch back to slip ins and instant hijabs again. My husband prefer those, he nags that I wear hats unless im wearing them with dickies.

Now, just look at this... I am loving this lady! This lady, im sure, has helped so many muslim woman like us. She is just so so pretty and she wears beautiful hijabs. Beautiful!

I am sure you guys have seen it before, but for me, I have never ventured youtube for tips on hijabs before and how I remorse it!! I should have done that from the beginning!!

so many more in there....
